Every company, franchise, hospital, restaurant, etc. can only be as great as the team that is working to make it possible. Our team is no exception! We are so thankful to look back over the years at how our crew has grown and every member that works with us today. If you know any of them personally, you know what we are talking about. The talents, skill sets, and personalities that each member brings to the table is amazing to see, and when you combine all of this together, no wonderful Menold continues to grow and flourish.
We not only take into account the skill sets of each employee, but also their love for the community. Since we serve others daily constructing new buildings and responding to disaster calls, people must be top priority to our team. We have a big responsibility in Central Illinois - and we do not take this for granted!
Because of this, we host an Employee Appreciation Dinner every January for our team and their spouses. We know this can not truly express our thankfulness for their handwork each year, but we try our best. We've held the dinner at Alexander's Steakhouse for 25+ years! The staff has been amazing each time we go back for this big dinner - they are great hosts. It's also a great opportunity for all three of our branches to come together again and reconnect! This year 112 of our team members were able to make it for the big night - since we continue to grow in number, the "Peoria Room" that we dine in continues to grow more and more cozy, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
The food was wonderful, the conversation even better, and we were able to recognize some key members of Menold who earned the 4th Quarter Recognition Awards. The Menold Way award was presented to Nathan Koster and Mark Bradley, and Jeff Cole earned the Challenge Yourself award. Legendary Service was presented to Rachel Menees for her outstanding work, and then we presented two of our team members with the Outstanding Employees of the Year award: Brian White & Jeremy Rakers!
It was a wonderful evening of food, fellowship, and team bonding. We are so thankful for each employee who works for us - Menold would not be where we are today without each one. We look forward to serving our wonderful community together in 2020!
